Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) is a non-profit organization devoted to the awareness and promotion of Telugu heritage and formed in 2008 with the sole purpose of bringing together our Telugu community. MATA promotes Telugu language and culture, coordinates community service activities and organizes youth empowerment programs with the help of the Telugu community and preserve the Telugu language, culture, and encouraging our traditions and values. It is an opportunity for every individual of the community to be part of this sea-change as we emerge with confidence onto the bigger stage. Be a part of a future full of optimism and pride as we spread our wings and take flight. Our goal is to involve and include every last Telugu community member as we march forward. Respect and appreciation for our culture, rituals and morals were ingrained in us by our elders when growing up back in Telugu motherland. Let us make that connection to our past stronger than before through a renewed MATA engagement with our community elders, so we can better mold the moral and spiritual character of our younger generation
